Natalia Reisel is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. Professor Reisel holds a PhD in Finance from Rutgers University, where she won the Dean’s Outstanding Dissertation Award. Her research interests are in the area of corporate finance with a focus on debt security design, corporate restructuring and strategic alliances. She has presented research papers at major finance conferences and several universities. Her paper on bond ratings won the Financial Management Association Best Paper Award in the area of Fixed Income Research in 2005. She teaches the Fixed Income and Finance Theory courses at the graduate
level.
